Concordia's Stephen Milhaven Named Cacc Basketball Rookie Of The Week

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Concordia freshman Stephen Milhaven has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week in men’s basketball for the second time this season.

The Clippers went 1-1 this past week which included an 88-85 win at Wilmington, Del. Milhaven, of Port Washington, N.Y., recorded 16 points on 8-of-13 (61.5 percent) shooting from the field while adding nine rebounds, two steals, and an assist.

Earlier in the week Milhaven had a career game against Nyack in Concordia’s 88-85 overtime defeat. Milhaven led the Clippers with career-highs of 26 points on 10-of-19 (52.6 percent) shooting from the field and 13 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. He also added two steals and two assists in 32 minutes of action.

Milhaven is averaging 10.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game for the season.

The men’s basketball team will host Felician University on Thursday, in a CACC North Division matchup in the Meyer Athletic Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
